Since being established in 1982, Orbik Electronics Limited has always been at the forefront of innovation and design of emergency lighting equipment and is now one of the largest independent manufacturers of this type of emergency in the world. Based at Aldridge in the West Midlands, their four-acre purpose built facility employs nearly 200 people engaged in the design and manufacture of emergency lighting equipment and is registered to and audited by BSI for their ISO9001/2000 quality system.

Throughout our long history, Orbik has been enthusiastic supporter of improving quality standards within the industry and today has over 300 products approved by BSI, proudly carrying the Kite Mark symbol, indicating their continuing compliance for quality, safety and performance. The company are represented on the technical committees of ICEL, the Lighting Industry Federation and British Standards Institution and can provide Continuous Professional Development approved seminars on most aspects of emergency lighting and the application standards.
